Nestled amongst 67 acres of lush greenery, The Leela Kovalam played host to this surreal engagement ceremony of Gayathry and Siddharth. The venue, Leela Chess Park and the Parking Grounds, were transformed into an enchanted garden blooming with chrysanthemums, hydrangeas, allium, and button blooms; all in serene whites. The magnificent tent was wrapped in a gentle embrace with white drapes, mirchi lights, and chandeliers. Adorned with florals and lush greens, the round and long tables accompanied by cross-back chairs provided the perfect touch of elegance. 

An idyllic countryside English tea reception, greeted the guests as they walked in. As the air swirled with the aroma of tartlets, nut cookies, quiches, opera cakes and scones; a tea and coffee bar added a zing to the tea-time gathering. Artistic tattoos, polaroid portraits and a swing that served as a photo booth engaged the guests through the event. 

The engagement ceremony was ordained by the elders of the families. The couple exchanged their rings in a romantic ceremonious tradition, witnessed by family and friends. Soon after the formal ceremonies concluded, the evening kicked off with a celebratory cake-cutting ceremony. The guests were treated to an experiential buffet dinner that served regional and international cuisines. Bharath Sajikumar, renowned playback singer, serenaded the guests with beautiful renditions of the couple’s favourite songs, creating a magical ambience for all. 

Gayathry and Siddharth’s engagement encapsulated the essence of a modern-day fairy tale, offering a prelude to the enchanting journey ahead!
