Wedding- Thirumanam

The next day, the mesmerizing cliffside of the Kuta Golf Club witnessed the magical wedding ceremony ‘Thirumanam’ of Selva and Sneha. The beauteous cloud formations and ravishing views of the Indian Ocean set a marvelous backdrop for this fairytale-like wedding.

The entourage for the grand entry was led by dashing Balinese polis officers on Indonesian Yamaha motorbikes, who led the way for Scooby-doo-themed colorful VW Combis that transferred the guests to the venue. They were followed by the bride and groom with their friends in a couple of handsome Mercedes Convertibles. At the venue, the couple were greeted by Pendet female dancers and guided to the Mandap by Baris male performers holding Balinese umbrellas and cute little Balinese kids in traditional south Indian dhoti and angavastram with folded hands.

The vedic wedding ceremony ended with excited cheer, a flower shower, and happy applauds by all. A life-size 5 feet name marquee of the couple was placed beside the mandap for guests to click panoramic photos. Everyone was treated to a lip-smacking Tamil Sadya with 34 food items on sadya leaves. Guests were gifted with Balinese hand fans to beat the heat.
