Mehendi

The F.R.I.E.N.D.S. themed Mehendi ceremony celebrations were held on the open lawns of Le Meridien in Cochin. Since the couple were hard core fans of the show, the whole event was modelled to reflect aura and the emotions from the sit-com. Only the closest family and friends were present at the Mehendi. Every element right from the installations, the lawn props, the seating to the entertainments had inferences from the renowned sit-com.
The Central Perk served as the backdrop for the couple. The coffee shop had the orange sofa and lounge seating along with the coffee bar with the special menu of the day just like the series. Installations such as the multi-layer clothed Joey mannequin who imitated Chandler in the series, Turkey head lady and the holiday Armadillo walkarounds entertained the guests. The couple’s friends escorted the bride and groom to the outskirts of the venue with cheers and smoke guns. The couple were brought in to the Central Perk. Guided by the Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rocking Eve dance team doing their routine. The competitive couple – like Monica and Chandler, kickstarted the celebrations by shooting the balloons on their respective balloon boards, reflecting the winner as the boss in the relationship.
