7 wedding entry ideas for the bride and groom

The true crescendo of a wedding is the bride and groom entry. The entry should be a show stopper and all the guests should be in utter awe. How can you do that? Well, with a bit of creativity and a bit of wonder, you too can have an amazing wedding entry.

As award-winning curators of some of the best couple entries in the country, we have a few tried and tested ideas for making your wedding entry as grand as it can be.

A quirky two-wheeler entry

It would be wonderful if the bride and groom would enter the venue on a two-wheeler. Our pick would be a kitschy scooter with a bit of decoration to give it fun yet grand feel. If a scooter isn’t really your style, feel free to choose other two-wheelers that suit you. This entry is guaranteed to make the guests laugh out loud and the photographers would have some amazing moments to capture too.

Sparkle it up!

The couple’s entry with sparklers going off on either side of them is quite dreamy. You can feel yourself shimmer with this fabulous entry idea. Additionally, you can use diyas, sparkle sticks, glow sticks etc to make it extra special. And if you are wary of a potential fire hazard, then we would suggest to switch up the sparklers with glittering confetti. Using Cold pyro for the sparkling entry is also a fabulous idea.

It’s raining flowers!

Flowers add to the total beauty of the whole wedding. A floral entry with floral confetti that the guests could throw would be amazing. By using flowers that match the theme of the wedding, the whole entry would be aesthetically pleasing too.

A beautiful Chadar is the way to go

We feel Chadars are a simple yet grand accessory for a wedding entry. We like to get a bit creative with the basic chadar by using unusual items such as dream catchers or a variety of flowers. Plus, photos with the bride under the Chadar are going to be mesmerising. Pro tip, always use flowers that fit the theme for aesthetic points.
Go Vintage
We are big fans of vintage entries, they have a certain elegance to it that no other entry can match. Vintage cars are a personal favourite of ours. Our award-winning wedding entry from Band Baaja Baali had a plethora of Vintage cars including several VW combis for the guests and a vintage Mercedes Convertable for the bride and groom. Vintage is grand, elegant and will help you redefine coolness.
Go the filmy route
Who doesn’t love a bit of a filmy touch? Go the extra mile by making your entry on a horse-driven carriage or how about a royal palanquin ride for the bride? Our favourite would be the horse driven carriage. We like to imagine a beautiful horse-driven carriage with plush velvety seats, like straight out of a Cinderella movie. Horse Carriages add elegance, beauty and romance to a wedding.
Wedding Procession, with a twist
Putting a twist on traditions has always been a speciality of ours. In another one of our award-winning wedding entries (Sasikala+ Britto) we put a twist on the traditional wedding procession with Thai dancers and drummers. The whole affair was a welcome treat to the eyes and ears.
