3 Stunning experiential wedding venues from Award-Winning Rainmaker Weddings.
The venue can say a lot about the wedding. The venue basically sets the tone for your wedding. It helps you create a celebratory atmosphere with your own unique touch. So how can we tell a story using one of the most important components of a wedding? That’s where experiential wedding venues come in. What started out as a simple concept a couple of years back has evolved into something much more bigger. Experiential wedding venues are becoming the norm nowadays and Rainmakers, as always, have been at its forefront. What we aim to do using experiential wedding venues is to make the guests part of the event rather than onlookers. By designing the venue as an experience, we take the guests and the couple on a never before seen immersive adventure. Through this blog, we show 3 such instances where the guests had the times of their lives at experiential weddings venues crafted by Rainmaker.

Beach themed Experiential Wedding Venue
Sarah and Jared’s Phuket Destination wedding’s Sangeeth and Mehendi night had some of the best immersive experiences ever seen in weddings. The Mehendi and Sangeeth functions were merged together to create a huge beach party. To start things off, the couple arrived in a never before seen Mad Max-style entry. The artists dressed up as Warboys(mad max theme) then proceeded to auction off the couple to the guests. After the usual Mehendi traditions, the emcee organised many fun interactive games for the guests right on the beach. As the night arrived the whole mood of the party changed. Dance floors were set-up right on the beach. Muay Thai fighters emerged and showcased a fight for the guests. The guests were also encouraged to wear the gloves and go on a bout with the fierce fighters. Other immersive entertainments included several cosplayers, fire dancers and ever war of DJ. We won two GIWA awards, one for the couple entry and one for the entertainments, for this destination wedding.

Royal Experiential Wedding venue.
Mysore’s Iconic Lalita Mahal played venue to Govind and Premitha’s Reception party. The palace was marvellously lit up highlighting the magnificence of the architectural beauty. At the welcome zone, princesses clad in extravagant costumes served welcome drinks to all the guests. The couple made their grand entrance in a 1950 model vintage car to the venue. Gatsby-themed dancers brought them down to the centre of the stage from the balcony of the stage. The guests were then treated to a 26 member multi-lingual new-gen band specially orchestrated for the night.
The Indian Epic Project stole the show with their music and ensured the dance floor was never empty. Along with them, theme-based professional dancers kept the guests engaged. The night came to an end with a magnificent display of fireworks lighting the night sky in glorious colours and patterns. This Royal experiential wedding venue played its part well and we were able to secure a GIWA and a WOW award for the entertainment design and another GIWA for the bride and groom entry.
